89 Connect Forums Law Supreme Court on Parliament Prorogation

      I think you all have heard the news. Few minutes ago the Supreme Court has spoken: the advice given to the Queen was “unlawful, void and of no effect” and  Lady Hale said that the Parliament has not been prorogued.

      Did you expect this result? To be honest, I hoped for this. What do you think about it?

      I think let’s wait for the next Boris Johnson’s moves, he can still have an ace up his sleeve.

      The issue was so controversial that I couldn’t forecast the Supreme Court’s decision. Obtaining a no-deal Brexit seems more difficult now, but you can’t really tell. Johnson is quite stubborn, and he has some powerful means to achieve his goal.

      I guess UK will have what it deserves, at the end.
