Agnese is a lawyer originally from Italy and currently based in London, UK. Being passionate about human rights and sustainable development, she has been part of several advocacy projects and campaigns at the international level. She also took part in a number of youth assemblies and facilitated negotiations in youth-led environments, including consultations organised in coordination with the UNDPI, the ASEM and the UNESCO. Additionally, she took part in several international consultations, such as the Global Education Summit that she attended as UK Youth Ambassador of the ONE Campaign. For the past two years, Agnese has been involved in the protection of citizenship rights as an election observer and has monitored electoral processes, mainly in the UK and Ireland.
In summer 2020, Agnese joined the Young European Leadership team as Community Officer to develop a network of young professionals through the YEL Alumni Network, exploring the potential of community building at the European level and promoting active citizenship among European youth.
She strongly believes in amplifying youth's voice in decision-making platforms, and most of her projects work towards this mission.

As someone who decided to embrace this field on a professional level, I can share some tips and tricks on finding your personal compass in a globalised world where we can access infinite opportunities but can also feel overwhelmed and confused about where to go next. Having practical experience in policy making, I am happy to share the toolkit to start developing experience in the field not losing enthusiasm along the way.
