Giorgia holds a MA in International Relations and Diplomatic Affairs(International Politics and Security) from the University of Bologna. Her main interests are in European history, pan-European security and Central and Eastern Europe. She has written her dissertation on the security challenges induced by the 2004 eastward enlargement of the EU. She has been an intern at the Centre for European Research at Queen Mary University of London and at the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) in Rome.
