About

I am a PhD student in Bioethics and Medical Jurisprudence at the Department of Law, University of Manchester and I work as a Teaching Assistant for both the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health & the Department of Law at the University of Manchester. My ongoing research is focused on reproductive autonomy and patient decision-making in the setting of reproductive technologies and prenatal screening technologies. I also hold a MA in Healthcare Ethics and Law awarded by the School of Law, University of Manchester (2017). In addition to my current engagement with academia, I have a Healthcare professional background given my working experience as a dentist in the National Health System of the UK since 2011. During my dental career in the UK, among others, I obtained a PG Certificate in Restorative Dental Practice awarded by the UCL Eastman Dental Institute (2015) and a Vocational Training Certificate awarded by the KSS-NHS Postgraduate Deanery for Kent, Surrey and Sussex (2012). Originally, I attended my undergraduate studies in Greece which is my home country, where I was awarded a DipDS by the School of Dentistry, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2009).
